End User License Agreement

This agreement is between you and the HeyWakeup developer ("we", "us") for the HeyWakeup software, including updates and documentation (the "Software"). By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to this agreement.

1. License grant

• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Software on Macs that you own or control.
• One Pro license is for the purchaser. Licenses are per user, not per device; do not share your license key.
• For business, team, or multi-user use, please purchase one license per user or contact us for a volume license.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• resell, rent, lend, share, or distribute license keys;
• reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or bypass the licensing/security mechanisms, or create derivative works, except as permitted by law;
• remove or alter copyright, trademark, or license notices;
• use the Software for unlawful purposes or in violation of Apple's or the sales platform's policies.

3. Updates and support

• A one-time license includes minor updates within the current major version; future major versions may require a paid upgrade.
• Support is available through our support page or the sales platform's ticket system. We do not guarantee a fixed response time.
• You may stop using the Software and remove the local license key at any time.

4. Payment and delivery

• The direct build is sold through Apsdai. After payment, the license key is sent to the email address you provide at checkout.
• The license key is stored only in your local Keychain; the app does not collect payment information.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

5. Disclaimer

• The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
• "Awake When Closed" increases power consumption and heat. You are responsible for evaluating device safety, cooling, and battery condition; we are not liable for consequences caused by overheating, battery depletion, or system policies.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

6. Termination

If you breach this agreement, the license terminates automatically. You must stop using the Software and remove the local license key. Termination does not affect amounts already due.

7. General

• This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding conflict-of-law rules); disputes are subject to the competent court at the developer's location.
• If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
